Nested in a hilly contryside, where vines mingle with forests and fields of wheat, rape and sunflowers, Gaillac is a small and lovely city crossed by the Tarn River. Saint Michel Abbey, located in the old medieval city, is all the more worth visiting that it hosts the Gaillac wine house where a large range of wines are available for tasting.
